My wife being diagnose of liver infection with pus & lung infection due to post ruptured appendix surgery. Currently she has been through biosyb process to suck/partially suck out the pus(pus had been harden cant drain out) and taking antibiotic for a course of 4-6weeks. My questions are as follow:
1) what other alternative/recommendation for the recovery medication?
2) what are the precaution I need to take in order for smooth recovery?
3) would the infection recur again or spread to other organ ?

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Antibiotics and drainage/aspiration are the answer to the pus collection. The pus should be cultured and the antibiotics should be given based on the culture report to ensure a good recovery.

Chest physiotherapy/steam inhalation helps in expectorating the thick mucous secretions. It is difficult to comment whether the infection will recur again or spread to other organs.

You need to ensure the compliance of the drugs (she takes the drugs timely and regularly). Wishing her a great recovery. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
