Q: Post-Appendectimy pain and fever

Ok, it's been over 2 months since my operation, and I still cannot work. Any prolonged movement (Anything over 10 - 15 minutes) and the pain increases to the point where I cannot do anything but sit. I've had a light-moderate fever that's been coming and going for about a month. Just today I've started having difficulty breathing with a non-productive barking cough. Feel very weak, and out of it most of the time.

After movement I get a 'bubbly' feeling from under the incision. The pain starts where my appendix was, and moves down towards my groin with movement.

Been to the ER and doctors several times, and have confirmed high white blood cell count, and swollen lymphnodes around the surgery. Each time I go in, they send me home with painkillers, thats it.

Should I just keep going into the ER until the buggers do something, or..? (Note: I'm in Canada, and the doctors in my area are complete douchebags. Nearly died once before from getting tonsils out.)

Extremely eHealthy
This pain can be due to damage to certain nerves (side effect of incision and surgery), but, since you complain of fever that comes and goes, and you have increased white blood cells, you should be checked for wound abscess (appendectomy complication).

This can be checked by performing abdominal ultrasound!

Gangrenous appendix
Tonight they drained a gallon of pus from my friends stomach an day after he had a gangrenous appendix removed. If it's gone into your lungs be careful this kind of thing can kill you if you don't catch it in time.
Bacteria is Nasty stuff!!
