my last period was 8th july but it wasnt a normal one for me it spotted for 4 days then i had a proper bleed on the 5th day and nothing since also it was 8 days late.....in the last two weeks ive been so tired, headaches, feeling sick (not actually been) very heavy lower abdominal pains, hot flushes.....i already have twins aged 4 and a younger boy aged 2 but this doesnt feel the same as when i was pregnant with them, i had the copper coil fitted july last year (still have) so what are my chances

if what i had was a period im not due till 3rd aug, so no pregnancy test would show anything yet, also im in a small town with one main supermarket when i went to get one tonight it seems that everyone local needs them as there is an offer on at a fiver each and all sold out, so if what i had wasnt a period i still cant find out.

please any advice welcome

The coil has a failure rate of less than 1% so chances are very slim that you are pregnant. (Unless it has come loose or there is some other problem with it.) Have you had the doctor check it to make sure it is inserted correctly?

ive done a test this morning and its come back negitive, but my period is not due til the 3rd i rang the doctor to have it checked but i cant get that done till next week...theyre telling me to take antibiotics to get rid of the kidney infection i have....thing is i dont understand how they think i have a kidney infection when ive had no tests and showing no symptoms....so im not happy to take them till ive been checked over properly, and they cant do that till next tuesday....and the pain im in im not happy that thyre making me wait that long
