Q: Possibly pregnant - depo shot ?

Hi iv been on the depo since the birth for son now 2, my next depo shot is on the 7th of may i dont want to have it again because i think i mite be pregnant with my 4th i just dont know i did a hpt and i think one came up yes but it was very very faint and the other one said no, i dont get my period on the depo, should i wait and see i if my period starts or do i do the test again please HELP

I would delay getting the next shot for a few weeks. (Keep in mind that you should use a backup birth control during this time. Also your period may be delayed or irregular when you go off the shot.) If the test comes up positive, BELIEVE it. Depo provera will not cause a false positive pregnancy test.

check again
I would test again before you go in to get your shot...or at the very least have them test you before giving you the shot. I've always heard that even a faint positive is still a positive. Definitely check with your doctor. Good luck!
