Q: possibly pregnant again ?

Okay, so my boyfriend visited about 2 weeks ago now. Those of you that have been around know that I got pregnant with him, while using the pill, about a year ago. I chose abortion for many reasons, it was very hard, but given the circumstances it was the best decision for me. Since that experience we've used both birth control pills and condoms and even some NFP. I'm terrified now because this is the second time my period has ever been late (the first time being of course when I got pregnant). I keep telling myself that I can't possibly be pregnant again.
I don't want to have another abortion. I also know I couldn't possibly keep any child (I don't want children and I'm planning on spending the next 8 years studying to be a surgeon). This leaves adoption. The biggest problem is my boyfriend is still on Accutane, which causes severe birth defects. I don't know what the standard is for any child conceived under those conditions. I'm also afraid because my boyfriend lives 40 hours away from me. I live in a much smaller city with only one abortion clinic.
I don't know what I'm asking for, maybe someone to just tell me that it's oh so unlikely. I'm so worried, I don't want to go through that again.

With all these new emoticons, you'd think there would be a hug other than sadhug, I don't want to give you a sadhug, I want to give you an encouraging hug. So ((hug)).

First off, you know my standard advice and it is more than likely the same exact advice you would give anyone here. You are wasting a ton of energy worrying when you don't even know. Since your period is late, you need to take a test then let the chips fall. There are too many what-ifs right now to even think about. "What if... what if I am pregnant? OMG! What will I do?" The first question needs to be answered first. Are you pregnant? Take a test.

Why wouldn't you choose abortion again? (you can pm the answer to me if you'd rather)

I agree, there should be more hugs on here.
You did everything you could have. Take some deep breaths and try and relax-- extreme stress will only delay your period more. You need to take a test first then consider options.

I agree, try not to stress too much before you even know if you are pregnant or not. **I know that it is easier said than done**

Im not to sure about the affects of the drug that your boyfriend is on, perhaps someone else knows.

I think that you need to try to relax and not stress untill you find out if you are in fact pregnant.

Hurray! I am so excited, I just got my period. I'm so happy I don't have to make a decision regarding it now because the longer I thought about it, the harder it was. Hopefully if I'm ever late again, I'll look back on this and realize that yes, it sometimes happens.

YAY!
Oh about Accutane, I'm not totally sure but I don't think it causes birth defects if the man is using it, I do know if a woman uses it and continues to use it while pregnant, it can cause birth defects.
