I have been on birth control for quite some time, and I had sex recently without a back up method. He and I where fairly sure that he did not ejaculate, so there was no risk of pregnancy (or so we thought). About a week later, I'm having horrible abdominal pains, a searing headache and bleeding. Could this possibly be a miscarriage? I cannot afford to go to the doctor for a little while >< Or else I would call and ask them :/

This isn't your normal period time? It doesn't sound miscarriage related considering it takes about 5 days for a zygote to implant and you wouldn't have a huge build up of endometrial lining (therefore not a huge amount of bleeding). I don't believe headache is a symptom of miscarriage either.
