Q: Possibly having a miscarriage ?

My wife is about 2 months pregnant, she has had various episodes of light pink spotting (especially after non penitrating sexual activity) which has worried us. She has been to the doctor and heard the heartbeat, she already had about 3 episodes of bleeding before that point. Today she had heavier bleeding with no sexual activity and some slight cramping lasting a second or two. Are we just being overly worried?

I would go back to the doctor,But dont give up hope yet as bleeding is common in the first trimester could also be caused by blood vessels in the womb as a friend of mine on here just got diagnosed with that although she only said spotting not heavy flow she maybe having a miscarriage or she may be fine dont be scared to go straight to the doctors as bleeding is always taken seriously.I wish you the best of luck take care

She could be experiencing cervical changes. Its not that uncommon for some woman to spot or bleed some. Most definitely keep your obstetrician apprised of any bleeding. Parents worry its what they do. Just dont read anything to much into it until the doctor tells you different. Is this your first child?
