Q: Possible Uterine Fibroids?

Long story short, since November I have had this horrendous pain on the left side of my pelvis, which having PCOS I thought was a sizeable cyst but after an ultrasound it was determined that a cyst that size wouldnt cause any pain. My cycles are all over the place and I have noticed that this pain gets MUCH worse when I excerise, even light walking! Also, it hurts to lie on my stomach to sleep because it feels like I am pregnant. Uterine Fibroids run in my family, and my family doctor thinks its either a Uterine Fibroid or a hernia.

I see her tomorrow and she is personally going over that ultrasound that I had at my OB/GYN's office back in January. And from there I either go for a focused ultrasound or a Cat Scan depending on what she sees or doesnt see on my ultrasound scan results.

I do NOT want to be put on the run around anymore! I've had it! They always say "We'll review your results, come back in a month"...well, the pain is still there, so thats an indication that SOMETHING is wrong.

Anyone have any experience with Uterine Fibroids? How did they find them?

Does it sound like I might have them?
