I have had 4 spinal operations and am now waiting for an MRI scan and most likely my fifth op and the second one at the bottom of my spine, the first 3 have been at neck level.
I have just come across this site and hope that it will not be depressing but a source of support.
I'm in a lot of pain but am used to it to some extent so i don't want sympathy off anyone but wouldn't mind a few people to chat to and help the days pass by a little easier.
So that's about it for now i guess except to say that i know pain gets you down but you have to try and rise above it and enjoy life the best you can, my hobby is my tropical fish.

Hello UKcoryman,

WELCOME to this forum!!!! I think you will be very pleased with the support you will receive here. It is a great forum to share experiences, thoughts, advice and yes chat with other spineys.

Sorry to read about your back pain and about the 4 surgeries that you have had.

"i know pain gets you down but you have to try and rise above it and enjoy life the best you can" Thank you for "picking us up". Excellent thought/wisdom.

May I ask if you have ever read about the spinal doctor, Mr. Martin Knight? I am most impressed with his standing amoung his peers, his publications and presentations. Unfortunately he is on the wrong side of the pond for me. lol

Take care.
