Q: Possible symptoms?

For the past nearly week now, My nipples have been insanely painful if i touch them it feels like a needle poking them. Even wearing a bra hurts, then late last night my boobs became slightly tender. I've been hungrier and a little more tired then usual. And a few days ago had some mild cramping. Oh and my skins been slightly more oily then normal.I took a pregnancy test yesterday it was negative. But this doesnt seem like PMS to me, I dont have 'long pms' mine shows up the day before my period not a week.

Is it possible I'm pregnant and its just to early to test? (Mind you I have irregular cycles so I cant say when I'm late.) I've read if you have symptoms though you should get a positive test. Should I wait a week and test again or give up on thinking i'm pregnant.

If you haven't missed a period, then its too early to test. It needs to be two weeks after sex, or after a missed period.

How irregular are your periods? Have you considered birth control pills to help regulate things?

hm well the counting days since sex wont work as even though I keep track of when we do its to frequent to say when to count from.

Well sometimes they skip a month and every once in a while it will skip two months. Me and the husband are trying to have a baby so birth control pills are out of the question, plus, before we started trying I couldn't take the pills as they made me horribly sick, and the patch seared my skin, and depo screwed me up. I have bad luck with birth control.

keep in mind
that the power of suggestion is very strong. Because you are trying to get pregnant you may just be more aware of possible symptoms. For peace of mind it can't hurt to take a test. The first time I got pregnant I tested positive at 2 weeks. So you never know. Take an at home test or go to your doctor or local clinic and ask for a blood test they usually don't cost too much and they are a little more accurate.
