Hi im 18 years old im not sure exactly what happened to me as i cant remember but for the 6 days prior the incident i have been getting chest pain and feeling dizzy when getting this chest pain i thought it was a bug and ignored it until one evening it got quite bad so i went to bed to lay down. my mum came up the stairs and i was apparently gasping for air, my face had dropped and i couldnt respond to her as if i was uncocious except my eyes were open. i remember coming round and she was grabbing phone to call an ambulance but i stopped her and she explained to me what happend. for about 20 minutes after i found speech difficult and eating dinner was difficult as i was unable to use my left arm to use a nife.

I am only 18 years old so im not sure whether this was a stroke or not i have no knowledge of these things. I dont drink, but i have been a smoker for past 7 years. my BMI is 23 and my percentage body fat is 26.7% if anyone can kinda help with an explanation as to what happend to me id be most grateful i wont go to hospital or the docters but this has scared me a little and would like to just know wat it is

You need to see your primary doctor ASAP Monday morning. You need to bring your mother with you so that she can describe what she saw as well.

It sounds very possible that you had, what can be called in layman's terms, a minor stroke.

Your mother should have ignored you and called an ambulance immediately and after having trouble with speech, eating and unable to use your left arm to use a knife.

Age, BMI, bodyfat mean nothing. Your history of smoking does. your lack of alcohol is also meaningless as well.

This could have been caused by an undiagnosed heart problem and many other things.

Get to your doctor ASAP and make sure that your doctor knows what has happened in the event you doctor would prefer you go to the ER right away instead.

Good luck and let us know what the doctor says.
