Please respond - many of you seem to have
expertise....
With these symptoms can there be anything
besides tmj; in other words do you think
this is absolutely a tmj problem??:
deviation on opening and closing
teeth don't line up under each other
hard crepitus when closing only - no sound
on opening
I can open wide, but I do feel tension in
the jaw joints
pain in front of ear, under ear and jaw -
moves around
most days painful, some days not so bad
no pain while sleeping - gets worse during
the day
pops on both side when laterally moved
jaw pops out SIGNIFIANTLY on one side when
I yawn - goes right back...

I am TMJ patient.
Symptoms were
1. poping when closing.
2. crepitus when swallowing.
3. headaches--little bit
4. minor shoulder aches.
5. neck pain.
However, right now, all of the symptoms
has gone except poping when I open my
mouth wide.
I went to the doctor's office yesterday, I
told him all of the pains were gone.
He told me that I am in bad situation.
I need to put splint...

these are signs of tmj ;yes----if you need
help let me know i can "hook" you up with
good doctors etc
