I had a cancerous mole removed from my shoulder about a year ago and my doctor said it was gone but he never scheduled any follow ups. A few days ago my shoulder started to itch and when i felt my scar there was a small bump there. Now today I looked and it has grown to a size bigger than the eraser of a pencil. Am I being parinod or should I definately go get it checked out. Note: I had Basal Cell before but this is very rappid

It will be a good idea to see your dermatologist, since recurrence of basal cell carcinoma can happen locally, usually, at the site of initial cancer (there is a risk for a BCC at the site unrelated to first treated cancer, too).
The rate of new skin cancer is 35% at 3 years and 50% at 5 years after an initial diagnosis of skin cancer.
