Q: Possible pregnancy at a young age

Oh k. Here goes

My girlfriend gets her period usually every 4 weeks duh! Mostly on every wednesday. She has not missed a wednesday yet. However, except this wednesday. We had protected sex WITH spermicides. The condom said so =P I barely came in her. The second I felt it..about 2 seconds later I took it out. There were no holes in the condom. I made sure of that by putting water in it after I was done. Nothing came out. However its still early in the day. But I am very young.....Not even 16 yet. not even 15 =/ I know be ashamed of me. But I love my girlfriend its been almost a year that weve been together. But I dont know what to do. Does it sound like shes pregnant? Shes not feeling weird or anything yet.

You didn't come in her. You came in a condom. There is a major difference! Sounds like she is most likely NOT pregnant. Good job using a condom!

She can take a pregnancy test since she is 'late'.

You don't have anything to worry about, if you wore a condom and it didn't break theres no way for her to get pregnant. Spermicides on condoms help some what but its very minimum for really any help at all. But I would not worry ive had scares just like you before and every things came out fine. If you and your girlfriend continue to have sex i suggest her being put on birth control so you guys wont have a scare again. Keep with using the condoms

Stranger things have happened. Like all the girls who come on here and say they've gotten pregnant while on the birth control pill. The pill is MORE effective than a condom. So there is a possibility, albeit slim.

Ingi's right, with perfect use (ie. no spillage or breakage) condoms are only about 97% effective. I'm not saying this to scare you, just to inform you. Your girlfriend probably ISN'T pregnant, her period could be late due to a number of reasons.. I know when I was younger my periods weren't always regular. If she was pregnant, however, a pregnancy test would show up positive by now so maybe she should take one to ease her mind.. & yours!

If the two of you are going to carry on having a sexual relationship then maybe she should get on the birth control pill. That alone is about 99% effective, so if you used that as well as condoms the chance of her getting pregnant would be extremely slim & you wouldn't have to worry every month!
