Hey,
okay, I'm using birth control pills and have been on them since middle of February and since last Sunday I have gotten some pregnancy symptoms like having to go to the bathroom about 5-6 times a day and I haven't been drinking a lot of liquids and I have been getting tired earlier.
I'm afraid that I am pregnant, I'm still taking my birth control pills though, but I was wondering, should I get off my birth control pills for awhile?(because I read something that says if your pregnant and on birth control pills you can hurt the baby)

then, another thing I won't start my period until somewhere between August 20-22, would it be too early to take a pregnancy test?

Extremely eHealthy
It is way to early for any form of pregnancy signs (and for that matter a pregnancy test).

The chances of you being pregnant is very slim with a next period date of August 20-22.

okay, I just don't understand why I would have these symptoms if I wasn't pregnant, I know it's not a bladder infection because I'm not in pain.

okay, well my period starts at the end of each month.
I did take a pregnancy test last night(I know it may have been kinda early, but I read something that said it would be okay to take one)

I was thinking if I still have these symptoms by Friday, then I will go in and see my doctor.

Do you think I should keep on taking my birth control pills though?

Ok, look, I am going to say this in the simplest way possible and I want you to read it and do it... don't ask questions... just do it. Here it goes...

CONTINUE TAKING THE BIRTH CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was that clear? I think it was. Why do you think you are preggo? Have you taken antibiotics? Did you miss a few days of taking the pill? Have you not been using condoms?

I'm on the pill too and I still make my man use a condom EVERYTIME! Having a baby is nothing to play around with.

If you are on the pill and taking it like you should, there should be nothing to worry about. Besides, there are no "symptoms" of being preggo besides missing your period. Nausea and breast tenderness don't happen until 6 weeks to the end of the first trimester if at all. Sometimes just being on the pill makes you feel crappy.

Just stay on the pill and wait for your period. Suddenly stopping the pill will really mess up your body. If it is really bothing you, just take the week of "period pills." You know, that week out of the pill pack where you have your period... just take those early to get your period early.

If you get your period, you are fine. If you don't, go to the doctor.

Also, just from reading your post from this board, I think you need to make an appointment with your doctor anyway so he/she can sit you down and explain birth control, sex, and pregnancy to you. No offense, but you sound really uneducated about it and probably shouldn't be having sex until you feel more comfortable knowing more about it.

I was the same way. I stopped having sex, asked my doctor to explain everything I needed to know, did my own research, and now I am confident and TRUST taking the pill.

Good luck
