Birth control is helpful in preventing pregnancy. Need to know more about birth control? Start here to learn more about popular methods of birth control....
You have many birth control options. Each works differently. What are the choices and what should you consider in order to help you make your decision? ...
Each method of birth control comes with risks to your health. What are the general problems you could encounter?...
So.
My girlfriend is late to recieving her period.
We did not have intercourse. I did, however, have my semen on my hand, washed it with hot water (not sure how thuroughly I guess...?), and then proceded to finger her.
I'm not confident how long ago this was... but it was over two weeks ago at least.
Assuming in worst case scenerio that she was inpregnated... there's nothing she could take to reverse it or anything at this point, correct?

She can be a very worrisome person and I don't care to worry her if unnecessary... so if there's no reprucussions at this point to waiting and seeing if she actually misses her period (after over 2 weeks)... I'll go ahead and do that to avoid the unnecessary worry on her part.

Thanks.

washing your hand should have taken all the semen off and i may be wrong but i believe the sperm need the semen to survive the protective bacteria in the womb but i could be wrong just wait and if it dosent come get a test

there are several thing that can cause a period to come late... just think was this during a seasonal change? has your girl been streesing about anything more than usually? does she think shes pregnant, because when girls think their pregnant they can accually trick their bodys into thinkiong so... But also if you didnt put any sperm in her then you have a really low chance of being pregnant, most the time oxygen will kill your spericides on contact plus you washed it off... just give it time to come... get a test if you need to... but dont freak out just yet or you might freak her out too...

Oh right right, thank you. Haha, I have no intention of freaking the girl out, and that's exactly what i'm trying to avoid... precisely my point in asking this here. She told me she missed her period and so I thought of anything that could possibly make for a worst case scenerio, and remembered the above stated.
We are on break right now, but up at school she is rediculously stressed... and tends to get stressed a bit easily in general.
She was also a bit ill a couple times within the past couple weeks, though I'm not sure as she's a bit of a hypochondriac (thinks she's always sick) as she tells me.
She told me she has been "freaking out" a bit the last few days because she had yet to recieve her period and ususally would recieve it by now. I assured her there was no possibile way she could be pregnant, and remembered the above stated only after we talked- though I made a point not to mention it.
Also, she recieved her period twice last month?
I'm not sure if this means anything at all or if it would make any difference as to this month... but I guess it's worth mentioning.
Thanks again.

I might have had precum on my finger but I doubt it, but I was fingering my girlfriend and her usual period came a few days later than when it usual does; and we were relieved it came because she was having tender sore breasts and feeling tired a lot, but now she's saying that insead of period blood, she is getting brown discharge..but..that seems impossible that she;s pregnant because there was no ejaculation on my part..just fingering...is there a different reason for blood and then brown discharge following it? id appreaciate any response, please

Usually that happens at the end of your period as it is "old blood". It can happen if the period is later than usual on your cycle.
