Q: Possible miscarriage

Hi...

At the end of August, I had unprotected sex. It wasnt something that was planned, and it just kind of happened. My period was not due for another two weeks, but about a week and half after the unprotected sex, I started feeling some nausea, general fatigue, lack of appetitie or sometimes I felt like I could eat everything in sight, headaches, and irritability, but kind of thought it might just be PMS since it was so close to the time I was supposed to start. I went to a party, drank, and woke up extremely ill... I do not have hangovers, so this was a big red flag for me, so I decided to stop drinking until I knew...

When I didnt start on time, I waited one more week to test, and on Friday, the 11th of this month, I started to kinda spot with a light brownish discharge. I took a hpt, and it came back negative. So I went ahead and went back to what I was doing (including going out with some friends and drinking), thinking things were ok...

I continued to spot for about 3 days, then, I started bleeding. Not heavy, just a kinda constant flow. I had some cramping (which is unusual, cuz once I start, the cramps usually go away), one night, it was so bad, they woke me up from a dead sleep. And as of today, 9/23, I am still bleeding... My friend seems to think I was pregnant and am miscarrying. I dont really have any cramps (just every now and then)... Is it possible?? I could use some advice, as I am uninsured and not really sure what to do from here...

Sorry this was so long... Thank you in advance for any advice...

Extremely eHealthy
A "chemical" pregnancy will normally cause a lighter period, not a heavier one.

It may just be your schedule and partying causing your body to react negatively. Slow down a bit, stop stuffing toxins into your body, sleep enough and eat healthy. It might also be an infection or some other medical problem.

If it does not stop soon, see a medical doctor.

Also make sure you get some condoms!
