hello
Hi there, I was diagnosed with psychosis over a year and a half ago and have been better for a year so I know what you are talking about. Also I like to draw and paint and have recently read there is a link between creative people and developing these types of illnesses. To give oyu some idea of my symptons, I held alot of odd beliefs ranging from people at work were trying to poison me to me thinking I was jesus! From what you have described I would definatley go and see your doctor as soon as you can. Or ring the nhs helpline. Dont be scared, you are unwell and need help to get better. I had to stop at home and take medication and take lots of time off work before I got better, but I got there. hope you are better soon too.

How I got help
I'll be honest, I went completley crackers, I wont go into detail but I was saying and doing some pretty random things. My partner contacted the doctors, since I completley refused to go. A doctor came to house to see me, I found this much less imtidating then going to the doctors, my partner was with me the whole time so I felt safe. I was very scared of the doctor indeed, but you should talk to one. Why not get a family member to call one for you?

honey no-one here to judge you. I think your health professional should have been more specific. I had psychosis and I too heard ppl laughing at me. If it wasn't for that symptom i'd say hey girl, you're seeing spirits maybe you're gifted but i don't believe you'd hear ppl laughing at you if that was the case. Anyway sounds abit like schitophrenia. I think the reason she is questioning you is because if you actually has schitophrenia you wouldn't understand the difference between reality and the things going on in your head or visions. see usually pp don't understand the dufference. So maybe it's someyhing else. i hear depression can sometimes give off psychotic symptoms so maybe it's this. either way keep seeking help and if they're not helpful get a second opinion.

There are spaceships, maybe not aliens, but yes, ships that hardly anybody ever sees, could be human I suppose.
About people, they suck, they are very dark hearted beasts. So when you think that somebody is whispering or laughing at you they either are or would, you may just be aware of their being, what they are made of, what lurks inside of them, they even do it to their so called loved ones, if not out loud then on the inside where nobody seems to hear. Now, someone or something coming into your house and moving things around, this idea becomes a whole bunch more of a possibility when you are more aware of certain things, no one may actually be doing this but crap, with what some people know it makes it alot more feesible. Like I said, you may only be more aware than others. Computer operated, wow, you may be on to something there. This may just be just that in some way, perhaps not exactly a computer program, but in principle something just like it. I think that you are very smart, perhaps a little to smart, like so much that you can't support what ideas you are coming up with, perhaps someone or something is communicating with you, only in such a way that you are either not aware of it, or cannot understand what they are saying. In do time I suppose.

I get the gist that there is an explanation to why these mentally ill people or people undergoing psychosis thinking that they are jesus. It comes out of there mouths "I'm jesus". And everybody thinks that they're crazy but if the inner mental workings of this phenomena were to be explained, why they do this I mean, I think that they wouldn't be viewed as odd, or crazy, or in need of medication. They have very odd ways of communicating I mean. They will get a little ahead of the person that they are speaking to.

Hey harmony, thanks for the support in this forum.ive been seeing a psycho-therapist and im going to a psychiatrist friday.i experienced something last night that ive never felt before, ive always believed i have an undiagnosed illness(physical)but last night i was sure that i was going to die if i fall asleep or look into my closet.i saw the face of jesus against my ceiling and alot of strange things.the whole thing lasted about 6 or 7 hours i was very drained.my brother kept saying it is not real, but i know what i saw and felt.ive never been that terrified in my life.i did fall asleep but woke up alot of times pleeding not to die.i feel very lucky today.my psychologist says that chances are that they will have to put me on some form of medication.im scared they will team up against me and force me.how long will the process take for a diagnoses?and do the meds cure a person or just a sense of relief?ill be honest i dont know whats happening and i dont know what to do.
