The symptoms you reported (feeling sick and tired) are considered as possible signs of pregnancy because they might be found in other conditions that are caused by hormonal changes similar to those in the beginning of the pregnancy.

The positive pregnancy test additionally advocates for pregnancy, although false positive results are always possible. False positive results on a test mean that the results are positive where the actual condition is negative.

You might want to visit a gynecologist for a physical examination, hormonal laboratory tests and ultrasound scan to confirm pregnancy.
