my 3 1/2 year old son is extremely bright and spoke very early. However, he reads books, does complex puzzles and now is beginning to write letters BUT they all are done UPSIDE DOWN. Should I be concerned?

Many children will begin to write and have letters upside down and/or backward. It usually becomes a concern when the child is still doing this at about the 3rd grade level. At that age children should have had enough exposure to writing that they should be able to correctly write the letters.

I would just keep an eye on this. If it persists, you can always ask for an evaluation to be done by the school psychologist.
