I have always had low blood sugar and if i do not eat every 4 hours i get sick really bad. Last week i went around 4 hours without eating and i started to get the shakes really bad( thats how i usually can tell when i need to eat), then my vision got blurry, my heart started to beat fast,my palms were cold but sweaty, and i felt really weak and like i was going to pass out. I was only able to grab a handful of jelly beans. After that i got really sick to my stomach. Know i constantly feel lightheaded and nausea. I have the shakes and I am tired. Also i have been getting random bruises all over my legs and arms. Could this be diabetes since it runs on my family

Sounds like this could be hypoglycemia or MODY diabetes, which is a highly genetic form of diabetes. You should get tested.

Also, diabetes symptoms?
I have been trying to figure out if I have hypoglycemia or diabetes for a while. I get shaky a lot so at first thought hypoglycemia, though the lowest my blood sugar has ever been (when tested) is 79. My symptoms are excess sweating (I sweat through my shirt everyday now, hot or cold), shaky feeling and visible shaking, increased tiredness, and tingling hands and feet. Everyday I wake up exhausted and with tingly hands and feet. I have a hard time getting out of bed but once I get up I feel better. My hands and feet also tingle at random points throughout the day like pins and needles. I have been checking my blood sugar in hopes of finding out the cause. My blood sugar before breakfast has ranged from 79 to 99 which I understand is normal? I've tested it after I've eaten: one day 2 hrs after eating 142, today 1 hr after eating 244. I got blood taken 4 or 5 months ago and everything came out normal. My doctor thought it may have been thyroid problems or an adrenal tumor. I tried anxiety medication thinking that might just be it but that didn't work and just made me more exhausted. Should I get retested for diabetes or is this something else? Thank you for reading this long post!

like InsulinPumper said, you should get tested. If this happen again, it could get worse.

Still struggling
Hi. I am still struggling with feeling bad daily. I want to get retested but my mother is tired of taking me to the doctor. I just tested my blood sugar at 11 am and it was 86. I am feeling weak and tingly in my hands and feet and woke up this morning exhausted even though I had 9 hrs of sleep! Isn't 86 a normal reading? I ate breakfast around 8:40. I don't want diabetes but I just want to find out something so I can feel better. I am tired of feeling this way and wish my hands and feet would stop tingling.

thank for everything
In our lives, we suffer a lot.. We walk through on several trials, that causes us to give up. Sometimes we think life is so unfair because of the hindrance we've been through. We struggle a lot to survive, but when things went wrong and everything is gone, we find someone to blame on and ask "why me?"..But things are just not constant, things may come and go, if not today, tommorrow, or never. But we need to value things that comes along our way, looking back the past may serve as our guidance to a new and better path forward..

“Every problem has a gift inside. We seek problems because we want their gifts.”

who wouldn't though it might change your life...
