Hey, i am fully aware that the depo birth control shot can make you feel preggo, and give you most all of the symptoms of pregnancy, but for me this is strange and also i was conceived when my mother was on the pill, so maybe birth control failure runs in the family?. okay so before i started the shot in late march, i had just had a miscarriage at 3 and a half months, so like 3 weeks later when i was still bleeding from the mscrg they administered the shot. during that time frame of 3 weeks i did indeed have unprotected sex, but its impossible to get pregnant that close to a miscarriage. so, i just got my second shot about 3 weeks ago, and by now i think i know my normal symptoms, and they just got a bit more interesting.. in the 4 months i have been on this stuff, my eating habits haven't changed alot, and i have gained almost 20lbs! my symptoms, whether they are normal or not include:headaches, severe fatigue, frequent trips to the bathroom, big cravings, weird weight gain,light-headed-ness here and there, back aches, and my abdomen is looking more and more preggo.oh and may i mention i haven't had any spotting or anything in over a month, which may also be normal. and in some instances i can feel little flutters along with some discomfort in my left lower abdomen. i thought it was just my tummy getting fat, but when i press on it its not your normal fleshy fatty tummy, its more on the lines of hard. all of this combined is confusing enough, and to add it all up i keep getting negative tests, which may i add could all be false because i have heard stories of women getting a negative months into pregnancy....i honestly am thinking more and more that i am pregnant since me and my fiance only have unprotected sex, and thats like everyday, if not more than once a day... so am i? or arent i? im really confused and its driving me mad!

thanks for any answers,
Kelsey

Negative pregnancy tests are unlikely if you are pregnant. If you feel you are pregnant, go get a blood pregnancy test, it will tell you that you are not pregnant.

Depo is massive amounts of hormones and it causes some women a lot of discomfort physically and is also known to cause weight gain, abnormal bleeding, absence of bleeding, etc. ALL your symptoms can be related to your usage of depo.
