Q: Possible chemical pregnancy?

I apologize in advance for the length of this. But thank you to anyone who reads all of it.
This all started 13 days ago on a Thursday. I started with nausea (only vomited once). Next morning I woke up cramping with low back pain. I felt this way through the weekend and went to the doctor on Monday to rule out Kidney infection. The dipstick came back negative for nitrates/blood. But the doctor said my urine was dilluted like water from drinking so much water that to be sure he wanted me to do a course of ciprofloxin anyways. So I started that.
It seemed to get worse and worse. The following Tuesday night I was in so much discomfort I was up until 4 in the morning. Low abdominal pain, low back pain. Stomach felt like needles. The next day, Wednesday the 22nd, I realized that I was a few days late for my period and ::light bulb:: This is exactly how I felt when I was pregnant with my second child, so much so that I went to the e.r. when I was four weeks pregnant with him. So I told my husband we should probably go buy a test. Shortly after that annoucement, I go to the bathroom and had some spotting. So I was like, well so much for that diagnoses. Then no more bleeding. My husband decided to take me to the Emergency room, because it was just getting really painful.
After our second hour of waiting there, I had a horrible cramp, like I was in labor, so I went to see if it was because I needed to use the bathroom, but I just started bleeding heavily, clots, and all. I normally have very heavy periods with clots, but this was on a whole new level. But my urine test came back negative for pregnancy so I just told the doctor there that I was bleeding heavily but he didn't think anything of it, because like I said I was only a few days late on my period. They did an ultrasound that came back fine, except some "tiny scattered calcifications in the junction zone of the endometrium." And something about inhomogeniety .. IDK. And scar tissue on my ovaries from my cysts that I get every month that rupture.
So they sent me home and told me to follow up with my gynocologist.
I was too embarrassed to ask if I possible miscarried because that's just my personality. Im very shy and I didn't want to sound like an fool for thinking this happened to me. But he just did a pelvic and because of the extreme tenderness of the uterus diagnosed me with an uterine infection and put me on more antiboitics. Which btw, I started bleeding heavily on Wedneday evening, and it stopped Friday afternoon. Started back up that night and had completely ended by Saturday night. All Saturday I wore a pad, but it stayed clean all day, because whenever I felt a hard cramp come on like a contraction, I went to the bathroom and bled in the toliet. So, three days of bleeding compared to my 5-7 days that my period normally lasts.
So if anyone read through this very very long story, does anyon ethink this could have been a miscarraige? I don't have insurance and have kind of broke the bank going to the doctor, but I'm still hurting down there, but achy and with occasional sharp pains around my ovaries. And in the bath today I had bloody mucus come out in moderate amount (sorry tmi). If so, is there a way to confrm this? My urin pregnancy test was negative. But would a blood HCG levels test show anything after this long of time? If that is what happened, should I be concerned about still hurting down there? Thank you thank you for anyone who responds. I've been very depressed. I've spent almost two weeks in bed. If any additional information is needed let me know.

chemical miscarriage/depression
The exact same thing just happened/ is happening to me. I think it was a chemical pregnancy. I've been extremely depressed too, which is an additional reason why I think it was miscarriage. I have never had a period like this before so it's definitely not a normal thing. And I was (stupidly) having unprotected sex weeks before. Next thing I knew I had hunger, fatigue, weird leg cramps, and extra bloating, moreso than normal. My period was a few days late so I took a test that was negative. still no period but began with gut wrenching, terrible terrible cramping, but no blood. pink or brown spotting showed up here and there, but not period-like. Finally I began bleeding just a little more, with incredibly terrible cramps, felt something go wrong, went to the bathroom and abruptly passed a huge clotted mass of something like blood with a white thing near it. I couldn't have been even a month into a pregnancy, assuming that's what it was. I'm afraid to discuss it because I feel like people will dismiss it, but I'm certain it was a miscarriage and I have been irrationally depressed ever since, in a way that is intense and not normal for me. And my stomach is really tender. I'm so sorry this happened to you too. The worst part is not having verification, and validation for your feelings of depression, chemical as they might be. You know your body better than anyone, even a doctor. If you feel it was a miscarriage, it probably was, regardless of what the diagnosis was. Hope you feel better soon.
