I am 25 years old with a husband and 2 children....5yrs and 3yrs. I am using the Mirena for the second time (I used it after my first pregnancy, absolutly loved it no periods or spotting at all). This time I have had it for almost 3 years and have always had some kind of inconsistant spotting during it's use. Recently I have noticed (as well as others) that I have gained a lot of weight over the last month or so but only in my belly (looks like a baby belly) and my butt & theighs just like with both of my previous pregnancies. I haven't noticed any other changes other than moody at times and slight cravings. I don't necessarily "feel" pregnant however I have had a number of friends and family ask me if I am pregnant because I look just like I did when I was both times. Is it actually possible to get pregnant while having he Mirena in for this long without any real major signs? Also, the urine tests don't work because both times I was pregnant I still got negative results every time. Please help....trying to avoid an expensive trip to the doctor and avoid sounding crazy.
