ok so im in a bad situation im almost 17. I had sex with my at the time boyfriend on friday the 13th. He said he didnt want to use a condom to start but he would after a few minutes. Well anyway i was ignorant enough to say ok and go along with it. well he ended up cuming and as u can probably tell i was pissed but i was to docile to say or do anything. So we ended up doing it quite a few times and since he already came once i didnt think it would matter if he did anymore. he broke up with me yesterday so i know he was using me. So because he came so many times does that increase my chances of being pregnant? when do u think i should get a test i was thinking about waiting till the 13th of next month, is that a good idea? Im really scared though im a daddy's girl and i dont know how my father will react i dont want to disappoint him because im in college and i think having a baby will ruin my college education i have a full ride scholarship and im not even half way through my college career. What do you think my chances are of being pregnant?

hun why would you let him do that and continue to do that a few more times?
you definately could get pregnant, and i would not be surprised if it turns out you are.
anytime you have unprotected sex and the guy finishes inside you, there is a chance of pregnancy. its too late to take Plan B, so your going to have to wait till your period is due. the earliest you can test if 5 days before your expected period for a pretty accurate reading, or take one if your period does not come at all.
i would say your chances are high up there.
if you are pregnant what are you going to do?
keep, adopt, abort?

im going to keep it. i could not imagine aborting and i definitely cant imagine carrying something in me for nine months then giving it up. I dont know how i could be stupid enough to let him do it im not an ignorant girl i guess i should have spoken up

deffinately.
well just know, adoption is always an option so you can stay in school, it doesnt make you a bad peron.
or maybe you could talk to a school counsellor about hooking up online courses so you could do it at home.
do you have any savings to support this child?

thanks i forgot about online. as for savings my financial situation is going to be the problem im currently living with my grandparents because my parents are staying with their friend.my father just lost his job so the likelyhood of them getting a place anytime soon is low. My grandparents are nice and help me with a lot of my financial stuff but as for helping pay for a baby im not so sure they will.

is there any way you can contact the father of your child? would he be supportive, emotionally and financially?

if your living with you grandparents right now you need to tell them. and the sooner the better. they will find out though, my mom knew i was pregnant before i could even tell her myself.
you might want to talk to a school counsellor about this too, he or she might have some advice as to what your next step could possibly be.

well yes i can contact the father i have all my classes with him but until i have solid proof i doubt he will believe me and i dont think he will be supportive at all. The guy that wants to be with me wants to help me with my situation and ive loved him for along time so he will help. im scared about telling my grandparents im a pretty closed person so telling plp things is really hard for me. I kinda want to wait for a pregnancy test to come up positive before i tell anyone is that a good idea? im just really stressed out with all my school work and now this. and i will definitely talk to my consular about this

yeah wait till you know for sure your pregnant, then tell the father and your grandparents that way you know you are definately pregnant.
its great you have a friend who wants to support you with this, friends like that are hard to come by. but its great he wants to help and be there for you.
i know your stressed, i have been there, and i know its hard to tell your loved ones something like this, but when you find out if your pregnant, the earlier you tell them the better. and people will come around, my mom was really angry with me at first, but now that my son is born and hes noticing people and all she loves him to pieces, she loves being a grandma and loves her grandson. people will come around, it just takes a little time.
its great your going to see your counsellor too.
