Q: Possibility of a soft skin tumor

I have found a hard lump on my left hand below my middle finger it is about the size of a peanut and hurts if i put pressure on it i've noticed it there for a month, what could this be?

It is hard to say but a “hard lump on your left hand below the middle finger, painful on pressure and existing for a month” could be generally considered as a tumor that can originate from the skin, soft tissues under the skin (fat, tendons, tendons’ coverings, blood vessels, nerves, muscles…) or from the bones.

You could consult your GP first and then a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, if necessary.
