According to the symptoms you reported, you might be experiencing hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism is a medical condition in which the thyroid gland works more than normal. The thyroid hormones are produced more than needed. It is characterized with the following symptoms: weight loss, anxiety, weakness, palpitations and arrhythmias, shortness of breath. A simple laboratory test will show whether the blood levels of the thyroid hormones (thyroxine and triiodothyronine) are increased.
