Ok, I broke down and took a test early 2 days ago. My period isn't due until somewhere between the 25th and 28th of Nov. (I'm guessing more like the 28th based on my strange cycle) So anyway, I peed on the stick... it looked negative after about 45 seconds. So I put it back in the pack and put it in my bathroom drawer. Yes, I'm a dork and I saved it but don't know why. Rolling Eyes So this morning I took another one and it did the same. Looked negative after about a minute so I set it down and did a few things. I came back about 5 minutes later and I saw a faint second line. So I got the old test and there was a faint line on it also that I didn't see the other day. So I'm wondering if it's an evaporation line? Has this happened to anyone else?

Pregnancy test results are only valid for a few minutes after taking them. The instructions that come with the test should give the time window in which the results are accurate. I would discount the older test results. You can wait until morning and test again if you think you might be pregnant. That second line will keep getting darker as the days go by as the hormones become more concentrated.
