Q: Positive test but no sack

hi i am 29yrs old and was trying for the past 6 yrs to get pregnant but i am irregular with my period i ghad it feb 19 2009 and none in march or april so i took 3 home pregnancy test all positive the n my ob took 1 and she did the blood pregnancy ne too all were positive went for my prenatal visit and the ob said she can not see the baby or the sack so she send me for an ultrasound and the tech said the reason why is because the ob have my time wrong can i be pregnant or can it be an etopic pregnancy please help i am desparate desparately

The baby may be still to young to see it. I'm sure the doctor's will do tests to check.

what stage and age and you find a baby heart beat
i was told that i am six weeks pregnant and my ob cant find a heart beat so he said that my baby is dead and i need a dnc who ture is he can i beleive him or go for a second opinion

Are you sure? Six weeks seems too early. I looked around on the internet and most sites said 12 weeks is when you start to hear it. It seems like a real OB would know better....Go get a second opinion and if the new doctor says something different, stick with that one.

hi i am 29 yrs i did three home pregnancy test all positive 1 blood test also positive now my ob is say he cant see the baby he said he saw the sack but no baby so he send me for an ultra sound and this is the result iup with small fetal pole measure 6w 1d no fetal heart activity seen both ovaries noted to be normal went back to my ob and he said that i need a dnc because the baby is not vital please help i am so helpless right now thank you

no sac in ultrasound
i cant believe how often this is happening. my daughter has just found out she was pregnant,done 5 wee tests all came up positive.went for ultrasound and there was nothing. the us lady said she possibly misscarried. my daughter has not had any pain,no bleeding at all and still none. wats going on, she is very emotional.and i dont know what to do for her

I had 6 positive pregancy test and they did the blood test. The hormon levels were high but, not high enough or increaseing. Had to wait an entire week with more blood tests. They found out it was a chemical pregancy.
I had the sack and fertialized egg. However the egg did not attatch to the uterus. After a few weeks it past through.

for those of you that second guess your doctor,i would get a second opinion. just to be fair to the baby.

my girlfriend found out she was pregnant, and found out that there was on sack. she had to get a D&c.
She has monster cramps when her period comes on.
but she did get pregnant and had a healthy baby years later.
