Q: Positive Drug Test

I recently had a pre-employment drug test done, the took hair samples from my armpits. The results came back back positive for cocaine. I do not use cocaine, and wonder if a combination of medications, and recent cardiocath done (whatever they used to numb up area before inserting cath), might be the cause for the positive result. I have also read the having diabetes may cause a positive result. Your help with this matter is greatly appreciated.
List of medications are the following,
Metoprolol
Metformin
Plavix
Ramipril
Aspirin
Fish Oil
Isosorb
Diltiazem

Thank you,
James

Wow! It's amazing how many seemingly innocent medicines and foods can cause a false positive on a drug test. Scary!
Here are some things that can cause a false positive for cocaine use:
Kidney infection or disease
Liver infection or disease
Diabetes
Ampicillin or Amoxicillin
Tonic water
