I recently had a blood test (quantatative and qualitative)and it showed 23 as the level of Hcg but a urine test showed up negative. Both were done in the evening and I don't FEEL pregnant but was wondering why the Hcg level was that high? I am not on medication and have not ever had a miscarriage. What else could it be? Very curious.

a pregnancy...

blood tests are 100% accurate.
they do not lie.

sometimes pregnancy tests-urine tests- are not as accurate or give false readings. but a blood test is 100% pisitive.

Wow...I haven't missed a period yet either...hoping to talk to a doctor tomorrow. Do you know if Hcg is found in a blood test even when you're not pregnant? I've heard it is usually 5 or below.
