Q: Popping zit

Sorry if this seems a little gross.

I've had what I think is a zit under my arm for no less than two months -- I've lost track of when exactly I first noticed it. I squeeze it every day and pus drains from it. It doe not have a 'head' on it like many blemishes do, nor is it inflamed or red, but it feels almost like a squishy BB under my skin. I'm wondering if maybe it's an infected hair follicle or something weird like that because I'd like to think a zit would have healed by now.

Anyone who might know what this thing is?

That is odd. It's not red or inflamed, so you wouldn't think it was infected, but what's the deal with the pus?

I don't know if this will help, but pure tea tree oil helps me whenever I have an infection like that. It smells awful (well, you might like it) but it works to heal.

Could it be a boil? They drain quite often and can be very painful. They can also be removed through surgery.

It's not painful, though. And it doesn't drain on its own. I just happened to find it because I occasioinally find zits in that area of my body.

I have had a couple of boils before and I know how bad those hurt and how large they can get...whatever is under my arm is not a boil, though. It doesn't bother me, but I was just wondering what it was.
