I found a spot like lump near my anus. Saw it a few days ago was like a size of marble, thinking it was just an under the skin spot left it alone making sure the area was clean. I have been getting an itch in that area also. Then last night discovered it was nearly the size of a golf ball. On examination it popped like a spot but instead of puss it was quite a bit of brightly red coloured blood.
Is this just a spot or does it require medical attention

Perhaps it is an external hemorrhoid. However, as I cannot examine patients who participate in this forum, I really cannot offer anyone a specific diagnosis.

If this lump is increasing in size, then it needs to be evaluated by a qualified physician.
