Upon getting birth control pills today, I was informed by my mother that she couldn't take them because she had problems with circulation in her legs after taking them. She told me after she stopped her doctor told her if she hadn't stopped she would have most likely had a heartattack... Poor circulation supposedly runs in my family, and even if it doesn't I definately think I have it. This is before I have taken the pill: When i sit on my legs for more than a few minutes, my feet fall asleep, ect. Now I'm worried about taking the pill and having even worse problems, or life threatening ones.
Are there any other forms of birth control other than the pill that do not affect circulation that I could consider and rethink the whole pill thing before I bother taking them?
