Q: Poking sensation after mesh surgery

I have recently started feeling a "poking" sensation below my belly near the left of my abdomen. It is very uncomfortable and makes me have muscle spasms in my belly. I can only think that maybe it is the mesh my doctor used to repair the hernia I developed after another major surgery I had. I am very scared and don't know what to do.

Visit the surgeon, since the used mesh and repair can lead to intestinal injury, abdominal wall complications (abdominal abscess) and other problems.
