My husband and I were going threw a tough time over the loss of our 2 month old son last sept. Although we are still together and still having sex. Things between us werent the same. We both made some mistakes but heres the problem, March 2009 I found out we were expecting a again! Smile All threw march my husband I were together many many times, and trying to work threw our problems, but March 17 we fought and I ended up out with a friend and that evening we had Protected sex. That was the only time. The next day I was back with my husband and we sleeping together again. So I was just wondering if I should worry theres a chance that my husband is not the father? My LMP was March 5 2009 and my due date is Dec 10 2009
Please only honest answers and no jugdements. I guess im just human and humans make bad choices and mistakes.
Thanks for reading from a very worried mother of 3

Keep in mind that this is an inexact estimate. Going by the date of the first day of your last menstrual period, I got a conception date of March 29.
But going by the due date, I got a conception date of march 19.
I used an online pregnancy calculator for both dates.

Unfortunately the calculations of the due date by most in the medical profession is not statistically accurate and have not been adjusted based on evidence for decades. Race, age, weight and habbits all play a roll in it. Let me know if you want a link to an accurate calculator based on the latest research and statistics.

I think it is impossible to say who the father is based on the dates. You had sex with two different men during your likely fertile period. The window for conception can be as long as 6 days.

However, if you had protected sex with your friend as you are stating, he should not be the father - that is after all why we have protected sex.

Hope it works out for you.

susan862003 Yes! I would love that link for that calculator you mentioned! Yes I swear it was protected and I hope to the lord that condoms do work! Im just hoping that since I had already been with my husband many times even up to the day before and the after the mistake that chance is on my side. I did mention this all to my mid wife and see basically said the same thing that - one time of protected sex verse 25 plus times of unprotected sex with the hubby that the odds were in his favor and not to get upset. That she could not say for sure but that more then likey his sperm were already present. Thank you for your thoughts and being judgemental.
thanks the worried mother of 3
