i'm 17 years old. so i hooked up with a guy and he wanted to have sex but i didn't let him.
however, his you know got very close to going in but didn't.
i have read that it is still possible to get pregnant without totally having sex.

basically i'm very freaked out.
i still have to wait a week before i'm suppose to get my period, but it's very hard to just sit around and wait.

i feel like i might be having some of the symptoms (needing to urinate often, sore breasts) but i might just be freaking myself out.
i think i might have an infection actually
and i know sometimes your breasts get sore before starting your period.

i just don't know what to do, so i'm going to try this post to see if anyone has comments or advise that will either freak me out more or calm me down.
i just need you guys to talk to me
thanks

what do u mean by came very close?

if u did not have sex, u cannot get pregnant.
if you have any doubts, the best way to know is to buy an over the counter pregnancy test.

no matter what happens, it will be ok. i'm sure that some of the ladies here will be able to advise you better.

worrying will not change anything, so just relax and do what you need to to clarify your situation.

good luck!

well, if semen gets into your vagina there is always a possability of pregnancy. However, if he didnt penetrate you, it would depend on how close the sperm actually came to your vagina.
So, unless it was all over your vaginal area then I really wouldnt worry about it. The only way to be 100% sure is to get an HPT and only do that like a day before your period is due otherwise it may not be accurate.
Also, im 26 and have one child and the symptoms you are feeling are signs of pregnancy, however it would be way too early for you to be having all those symptoms. It's possible but not likely. So just hang in there and next time make sure he wears a condom so you wont have to go through this again... Good Luck and let us know what happens!!!

The symptoms you are feeling could just as well be signs of PMS. Relax, you are not pregnant. Unless his penis entered your vagina and sperm was present. Sperm on the vagina is only a slim chance of pregnancy on a very lucky (or unlucky) day. Not only would you have to ovulating at the exact time, the sperm would have to find the way to the egg, not an easy task if it isn't already inside you.

Seriously, relax.

Do I have to say, "I told you so." ? Smile

I'm glad your period came but I knew it would.
