Q: plan B necessary ?

My boyfriend and I were making out last night and we ended up having unprotected sex for a few minutes before he put a condom on. We've never done that before(the no condom part) and now I fear the worst. I don't keep track of my periods because they are irregular. I know precum still contains some sperm and I know for sure there was precum involved. Is there any chance of pregnancy or am I being paranoid? I guess my question is should I take plan b or is it not really necessary?

Any time you have sex without protection, you run the risk of being pregnant. Plan B prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterine lining. It works up to 72 hours after the unprotected sex. It is like taking an extra dose of birth control. It will not harm you if you are not pregnant.

I would say you should've taken the Plan B pill. At this point, however, its definately too late for that.
