I am scared... Too scared to even take a HPT...
On Feb 26 i was on my period but we used a condom... But i was so paranoid that on Feb 29(the day my period stopped)I took Plan B... On March 6 i got my period again it ended on March 10...
On march 23 we drank a little too much and before we knew it we were having unprotected sex (we never do that) apparently he pulled out and came outside... But Within 2 hours I took Plan B... The following week i have cramps up to this day April 2 but still no period!!
According to my period tracker apps on my phone I should have started my period on march 29 or 30 :S So i am like 4 days late I am too scared to even take a hpt... So I am asking, are these symptoms normal??

Plan B has a high dose of hormones in it which is what helps prevent the sperm and egg meeting.

Some experince some bleeding 1-7 days after taking the pill.

As you've taken plan B twice within close succession, then the high dose of hormones are likely to mess with your periods. Oh, since you used a condom and were on your period, then it's highly unlikely for you to get pregnant from that.

It can take a couple of months for your cycles to return to normal after taking the Plan B pill. Stress is another factor that can make your periods late or even cause them to be missed.

Try to focus on something else and stress about it less as it will help. Some Plan B pills suggest you take a pregnancy test 3-4 weeks after taking it to make sure it's worked and you are not pregnant.

As you are with a boy, and you are having regular sex, and do not want to get pregnant from the sounds of things, wouldnt you be better getting onto some kind of regular birth control like the pill? There are many types of birth control out there apart from the pill. Do some research, and find out which one you like the sound of and then go and see your doctor.

If you dont want hormonal based birth control, then there are only 2 options condoms and the copper coil which is a small t shaped device which is inserted into the uterus.

Hormonal based there are lots, IUD which is similar to the copper coil same shape but releases hormones into your system, the patch, the pill, the mini pill, the implant, injection and the list goes on.

Surely birth control is better than using the plan B pill on a regular basis to prevent pregnancy. You can also use condoms with the other types of birth control so you end up using two types and the chances of both failing at the same time are extremely low.

Thank you so much for ypur response AmyA... But the second time we did not use a condom, which is why I am more worried :/
In regards to the birth control, I have been on it before, but I stopped since I was getting skin spots on my face :/ I know I need to do some research or speak to a doctor about other alternatives or different pills... But for now I don't know whats going on with me and I am so stressed out... And depressed about this whole situation I got myself into Sad As of today, April 3, Im still getting cramps but still no period Sad

Just an update on my situation... After being 5-6 days late I finally started my period yesterday with some spotting and pretty heavy today... So all is well and normal!! It is such a relief, I was seriously getting very depressed and stressed out Sad
Now I am definitely starting BC pill again, but I'm going to speak with a doctor about finding BC pills with the least side effects, ( I stopped them because I was getting sun spots on my skin). I'm just so relieved Smile

Plan B one step
Hello. My last ovulation ended on January 6th and I had unprotected sex January 11th. As a precaution I took the one step plan B pill within 18 hours after the unprotected sex. While there is always a possibility, is it likely i will become pregnant? Thanks
