alright, so i took plan b because of a problem on the 3rd, and after that incident my boyfriend and i thought it would be wise to use birth control as well as other protection. the problem is i know that plan b throws off when you are supposed to have your period.

i have gotten cyclessa birth control, but i havent had my period yet, when i was supposed to get it the 13th. yesterday and today ive had cramping, but no blood. i know its going to come because i usually get stomach pains before hand but i dont have any blood this time. plan b does give lighter periods... do i take the birth control now while im cramping, so it probably wont throw off my period, or should i wait, and have my body possibly go through more?

and if i dont have it due to the overdose of hormones... when should i take the birth control then? any help would be great... were both just really worried because there are no signs of pregnancy but all this showing otherwise due to plan b is worrying us...

You can technically start the pill ANYTIME you want, but when you start on your period you are protected IMMEDIATELY.

You may have some spotting or bleeidng during the first 1-2 months of BC use, but that is normal.
