Q: Plan B after missing pill

I am taking YAZ, and this dilemma happened during week 4 of my pack.
Thursday, I missed the pill at 9 pm. Had unprotected sex.
Friday, I realized and took the pill at around 11:30 pm. Als took sugar pill for YAZ, week 4.
Saturday, took Plan B just in case. Took sugar pill for YAZ, had sex.
Sunday, expected my period- NOTHING. Took sugar pill for YAZ, had sex.
Monday, took the last sugar pill of the month, had sex.
Tuesday, started a new pack.
Still haven't gotten my period, it's Thursday.

MY QUESTIONS ARE...
1) Was it right to keep taking sugar pills and still having sex, on top of taking PLAN B?
2) I'm still experiencing some light cramps on/off, and I've been having headaches. Could that still be from PLAN B?
3) Could I already be pregnant just from this dilemma?
4) Was I protected when I had sex this weekend?
5) It seems like most people are saying they are spotting or getting their periods earlier. I haven't been spotting at all, and I haven't gotten my period yet. Is this normal?

Help Sad. Thanks!

Heres the thing...the first and last pill of your pack are the most important...but given that you took plan B you should be well protected...Plan B can screw around with your period..I'm on yaz as well..when does your period usually come? Mine doesn't usually come until my very last placebo anyway which is pretty much the beginning of the next pack...yes you should have been protected this weekend...if I were you I wouldn't worry too much, but if it would make you feel better you could always test

Yeah I guess Plan B is just really messing with my period right now. I normally get my period towards the end of my packet, during the last sugar pill day or the first pill of the new pack.

I'm too scared to take the test yet.

Thanks so much for your help Smile

I took Plan B once a few months ago and it really messed with my system. My period did not come for almost about 2 weeks after the time it normally does. I am on the pill as well. If I remember right, it took a couple of months for it to be all back to normal again. You took Plan B right away, I am sure you are fine! Smile

Thank you Smile. You're making me feel much better. I was getting worried because of people saying if it's more than a week late, then you might be pregnant, or that you're supposed to spot, or get it early. But I guess everyone's body works differently, and mine will hopefully just be late!

Honestly, you probably had enough hormones in your system to prevent pregnancy. For most pills, even missing one day does not compromise protection as long as you later remembered to take the pill.
I'm sure the Plan B was not needed, but since you took it, you only FURTHER prevented pregnancy.

You probably did not get your period since right when you were supposed to get your period, you took an extra large dose of hormones. Your pill works by giving you a constant flow of hormones until your last week. You stop that flow of hormones on the last week, so the levels drop, giving your body a chance to bleed (of course the hormones DO NOT drop low enough to cause you to ovulate, that only occurs if you prolong your pill-free week past 7 days).
In your case, you did not allow your hormones to drop, in fact you just took more. Only the absence of hormones allows you to bleed, so I would not expect any bleeding if you just took Plan B.

I'd say, wait it out, take a test if you want, but I'm sure you're fine. Also maybe expect a little bleeding, I know that one week after I took plan B, I had a pretty heavy period even though I was still on my active pills. Even if you don't have it though, I'd bet money that you are protected.
