okay so heres the story...
i am not on BC and i usually have a pretty
regular
period evey 26-28 days. i got my period
feb 7th and it
lasted till the 12th. however, on the 15th
i had sex and the condom
broke within the first 10 minutes, he did
not finish but because of
precum i took the morning after pill on
sat around 1230-1 in the afternoon and we
had had sex on the 15th around 10-11pm-ish
so i had taken the
plan b within the first 24 hours. about a
week later on the 22nd i began to have
minor cramps and was bleeding..it was a
red pinkish colored blood and it was much
lighter then my usual periods. this on and
off bleeding
sometimes a little heavier then others
lasted until the 27th-28th stopped for a
day and has started again but even lighter
then before it is still a pinkish red
color blood though. is this my period? or
is this spotting before i get my period
early next week if it was to come on time?
im really confused i've never taken plan b
before but i do know that it can mess up
your cycle so im just wondering if i
should even be expecting my period to come
early next week at all?
any help would be great
thank you

i wouldn't be concerned, plan b can do
some weird things to your body. if it's
more than spotting then i would say that's
your period coming early, so i wouldn't be
at all surprised if you don't get it when
it's due. but then again, you might get it
again. there's really no telling.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. PlanB
can cause spotting, an early period, even
a late period. Of course there is A chance
that PlanB didn't work, but you took it as
soon as possible and you shouldn't have a
problem. When you bought the pill, a
pharmacist should of explained how many
wacky things your body will do once the
big dose of hormones gets through it. If
you're really worried, take a test in two
weeks time, but you did the right thing
and you're most likely not pregnant.

Plan-B is a pill comprised of artificial
female hormones, designed to prevent
ovulation in emergency cases, such as the
day after unprotected sex. In this way, it
prevents pregnancy.
