Q: Placenta lake and placenta previa

my name is shanne. iam 22 weeiks pregnant with my second child. i had a ultrasound,they told me i had a placenta lake and also a small placenta previa. iam scard for my daughter life and mines because, back in april 2009 i had went to emergency center and they told me i had a placenta pevia and the blood flow was 2cm long. now in my sonogram last week. they said it increse to 5cm so, i get another sonogram in 4weeks to see if if got better. if not i guess they gona deliver to baby as preterm.

I am sorry that I don't have much knowledge on women's health. At this point I just pray God keeps you and your baby protected.

i delivered my son a month early and he was a little over five pounds. i would suggest you make sure you take your prenatal pills, you eat right and get plenty of rest.
it they schedule you four weeks from now, it may not be as serious as you assumed.
i m going to email you a few websites that informs you about placenta lakes to keep your mind at ease.
