I was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea today. I am nine weeks pregnant. I was wondering if there is any affect this diagnosis has on my unborn baby.

It is not a dangerous disorder, even to pregnant women. There is no medication to treat it. It goes away on it's own anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months later. Just make sure you don't take any steroid creams or medications (such as for itching) without notifying your doctor of your pregnancy.
Congrats on your pregnancy.
