I was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor about 9 yrs ago and was on 2 different meds. The last one was Dostinex, that seriously destroyed my body. It shrunk the tumor to half its size before it stopped working. My doctor took me off the drug and i am very happy because i feel almost like my old self again. However i suffer from great depression-even before i got diagnosed-and that seems to be the biggest problem with this tumor. What other alternative do i have now that i am not on the meds any more. I would hate to have to start taking them again because they were very debilitating. Is surgery recommended and what is a good hospital to look at, i am in San Diego, CA. Is there a doctor who would volunteer his services, because i am currently unemployed. Help
