currently i am 15 years old and am getting really worried about my eyesight
currently my glasses are -3.75 in both eyes
i am concerned about not being able to get a license, not being able to do things my friends are doing etc.

I have heard that pinhole glasses help improve eyesight, what i'm wondering is for my prescription (-3.75) would they be effective and how long would i have to wear them to see an improvement, i'm sure getting a pair would not be a problem at all.

Also, i know i'm only 15, and you have to be over 18 or 21 (whatever the age restriction is) to get LASIK. I know they cost about $2000 per eye but i'm sure it will be worthwhile. So assuming my vision gets no worse, will my vision be restored to 20/20 after the surgery?

do not, I repeat do not use pinhole glasses. It is quackery and a scam. They rely on a well known optical principle where the pinhole, because of its very small aperture, increases depth of field. It is the same reason you have it and increased depth of field with a small aperture with your camera and it is the same reason we use pinhole vision testing in the eye care profession. No classes do not change or improve your vision temporarily or permanently. Any claims otherwise are just false. You are too young to have LASIK as your eyes are still growing and changing. You should wait at least until your 18 years of age and your vision correction is stable for a year prior. That may mean waiting until after you're 18 years of age until things are fully stabilized. If you're going to do it, do it right. Dr. Johnson. http://VitreousFloaterSolutions [dot]com
