I have the same thing.
I had a hard impact to the area about a week ago (dirtbike fall)
I describe the pain as similar to tearing open a big scab, but internal.
It only happens when I twist my back.
I'm interested to hear what this might be, and how long I can expect it to stick around for.

Extremely eHealthy
Both of you need to see your PCP or family doctor and see what he/she says is going on. From there it can be determined if you may or may not need to see a spine surgeon for further evaluation
