I have just been diagnosed with a bladder infection. In my culture there was red blood cells. I dont know if those have any thing to do with this. But today I went swimming in my community pool. As I was in there, my labia minora was starting to feel irritated and hurt some. When I got out of there, I went to the bathroom and saw a little red bump. I know its not a STD, but I was wondering if it was anything serious. Ive been searching and read people having pimples or little cysts or blood blisters down there. Im too scared to pop it. Help please!

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Do not pop or manipulate it. Get it examined by our doctor/gynecologist to be able to identify the origin and the probable cause for it (as it is difficult to comment on the cause without examining it). Get started on treatment as indicated (based on examination and investigation results). Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist/obstetrician and report any unusual/new symptoms immediately.
Take care.
