Not making light of any other very serious
aliments on here but I have a dermatology
question. I had a giant pimple on the end
of my nose and after a month and a half it
hasn't completely receded and now my nose
is asymmetrical on the tip. I saw a
dermatologist, he called it a boil, and he
gave me ointment that I'm still using, and
I saw an Ear Nose and Throat doctor who
said that after it healed it left scar
tissue and that it might or might not go
away. I have a follow up with the
dermatologist and he said if the ointment
doesn't work he's going to give me
antibiotics, which I don't think will work
because it's been so long. Unfortunately
I think he's just stringing me along to
fill his pockets but I'm desperate.
I know it might sound trivial but it's
very frustrating and I'm wondering if
there is a way to get rid of it entirely.
Thanks in advance.

you could use vitamin e oil to get rid of
the scar--or you could use one of the otc
scar removers out there.

Thanks for the reply. I know about using
vitamin E but the scarring is actually
under skin, on the cartelidge, and that's
why it's causing a bump.
