I have like a pimple like thing on my vagina, I'm 18, sexually active. There are plenty of 'em down there. But not too much. It's on the lips and on the inside when you open the lips. I'm worried. And I have no clue what it is. And it just itches like crazy. First I thought it was just as scrapped skin cos it's white. Then I took a picture and it just looks like a pimple rash. Please, I need an advice. Oh and it looks like pearly penile papules only vagina version Sad madly worried

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for the pimples/rash that you describe in genital area/vagina without examining them and going ahead with getting further evaluation done for you. If these are present in clusters and are itchy and burning, fluid filled vesicles, possibility of Herpes infection should be ruled out. Other possibilities include Chlamydia, infection, folliculitis, infected and blocked paraurethral gland ducts, etc. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle. Avoid vaginal douching, use of harsh soap or perfumes in the area. Use loose cotton undergarments and avoid use of tight fitting clothes. Avoid sweat accumulation in the area. If infective cause is detected, and if you are sexually active, it is important to get your partner also treated simultaneously to prevent chances of re-infection, and avoid having intercourse while being on treatment.
Take care.
